Bike rack recommendations (rear) for Kia EV3?

Hi all,

Have an EV3 GT-Line S and would like to be able to transport a couple of bikes, ideally not roof-mounted as I'm quite short!

I've been looking at options that don't require a tow bar and I found this (Saris Bones EX), however the reviews seem to be pretty scathing:

Wondering if anyone has other recommendations or has experience using this/another rack?

Thanks,

Adam

Hi all,

I started taking Mirtazapine 15mg last April for severe insomnia and also Pure O OCD + intrusive thoughts.

Insomnia was fixed instantly, but the first few weeks and months were rough - lots of days where I'd struggle to get up in the morning and then have severe brain fog/dizziness.

Strangely, those symptoms periodically came back for a short period of time and were debilitating.

I then went down to 7.5mg having discussed with a doctor, and more recently 3.75mg (quarter of a tablet).

I had a horrible realisation last night that a lot of clothes that I bought last year no longer fit - not a chance. This led me to check my weight trends and I discovered that I've put on over 8kg in a year, going from around 67kg to my current 75kg (I'm 5"6 and just in my 40s).

Problem is I'm always extremely hungry and thirsty - it's uncontrollable, it feels like if I start snacking it's a frenzy and completely insatiable hunger.

I'm terrified of the insomnia coming back - I didn't sleep more than an hour a night for a few months, some days I'd have zero sleep.

Wondering if anyone has any advice about coming off it and also losing the excess weight? It's by far the heaviest I've ever been.

I did try to not take it one night but couldn't sleep and ended up taking it, but I feel like it's largely psychological - i.e., if I know I haven't taken it, I can't switch my brain off.

Almost need someone to replace it with a placebo at some point without me knowing.

Interested to know the experiences of others - I know there are a lot of threads about weight gain and it's seemingly quite common, wanted to share my own personal story.

Overall there have been many benefits, but the weight gain, brain fog and a few other symptoms are making me desperate to come off of it.

Side note - I took an eighth of a tablet last night and slept pretty well, still insanely thirsty and hungry today though.

Hi all,

I've got a GT-Line S with the Harman Kardon sound system and although the clarity is great, I'm finding the bass (in particular sub bass) quite poor.

I used to have an Ioniq 5 with the Bose system and sub - the sub was tiny but performed a lot better than this system. Even enough to make the rear view window shake considerably 😄

I've tried adjusting bass, front/rear balance and different audio sources including Spotify lossless via cable - sound quality is great, but the bass is really lacking.

Anyone else had the same experience/have any tips? I read about a wiring (phase) issue with EV6 but from everything I see that's not applicable to the EV3.

It feels like the sub is quite underpowered or maybe the crossover is off in my opinion.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/advice!
