Why is the license plate bracket not fitting on my 2008 Mazda 3?
Hey y’all just a quick question. So basically I had a fender bender on my 2008 Mazda 3 and my license plate bracket was unfortunately destroyed. I bought a new one off Amazon. After spray painting the front and letting it dry for a couple days I tried putting it on, but I ran into some issues 1. The top left and top right part where the screws goes the holes if I screw one of them and the other one will not fit it’s as if the license plate bracket is too small. (See first and second picture) 2. There’s two spiky thingy in the back that pushes onto the bumper. (See third picture) Which pushes the bracket out of place. I’m not sure if I need another part to make it fit or if It’s a manufacturing issue. Any advice would be appreciated. If it turns out to be a manufacturing issue, I’m gonna return the bracket to amazon. I would appreciate the recommendation of some other websites that has license plate brackets that fits properly.
