OA Lang Ba Ako? or is my co-worker being too bossy?
I have this co-worker na femboy, very jolly and bisexual siya. I’m usually the quiet and observant type at work—I don’t really talk unless needed.
Recently, I noticed na medyo nagiging bossy siya. Hindi naman siya assigned sa main office, but this week nandun siya due to a schedule change, and that’s when everything started getting noticeable for me.
She keeps telling me what to do even though I already know what I’m doing. Minsan, she contradicts my suggestions even if they make sense, and she still insists on her own way. There are also times na she asks me to do tasks na kaya naman niyang gawin herself.
What’s more frustrating is that she would pass her work to me, like having documents signed by our head even if she’s the one assigned to it. I even told her I was busy finishing something important kasi may field work yung kasama namin and I needed to submit urgent documents ASAP, so I had to prioritize that.
Kanina, we were talking with another co-worker about our assigned program. Bigla siyang nag interrupt again because I was supposedly asked to make coffee for our head—even though she’s the one who volunteers. It felt like I was being pulled into tasks that weren’t really mine.
She also keeps teasing me throughout the day, calling me repeatedly, interrupting me while working, and asking random things even when I’m clearly busy. It’s becoming distracting and honestly stressful.
During lunch, I walked out because I was already pissed off. Akala siguro nila I was just being dramatic, but I was really holding it in the whole time. She kept calling me and when I answered, she just laughed.
What’s bothering me more is that others say “ganun lang talaga siya” but I can feel it na iba yung treatment niya sa akin. Like it feels more personal compared to how she treats others.
The whole afternoon, I just kept my distance and didn’t bother to talk to her.
Now I’m wondering—am I overreacting, or is it valid that I feel disrespected in this situation?
