Got an oil sensor warning while on a road trip- checked the oil on the dipstick and it was fine.

Planned to change the sensor during an oil change, but I’m pretty sure the issue isn’t a bad sensor after inspection …

The challenge now is I can’t find the replacement wiring harness , nor is it a simple task to trace where it goes- should I just strip the wire and use heat shrink connectors?
