Gaucho crazy horse - will the colour improve?

Just got these gibsons. Colour is a lot darker and dull than I expected and from other's pictures I've seen. Will it improve with a bit of dubbin and some use?

I also got these on the solovair outlet website so I'm wondering if the colour is the defect, as they usually don't specify?

Edit: thanks for the advice all. I'm being realistic/reasonable with my expectations and will await to see if the more pressing issues can be addressed by the managing agent
