Hi all,

My wife and I have been looking at the 2026 Sorento as our next vehicle, specifically either the EX with premium package or the SX (she wants captain’s chairs). We aren’t in a huge rush to buy one but we’d like to ideally get one sometime this summer. We will be replacing my 2015 VW Jetta that has had some serious engine problems (known issues that others also experienced). I was looking for some feedback/thoughts on anyone’s experience with the 2026 Sorento. Is it worth getting the SX for the extra $1500-2000 more? Should I consider pre-owned? I plan to stay really on top of maintenance, but should I be concerned with any reliability? Any responses would be appreciate, thanks!
