To refund or to keep for salary.
Hey MTs! I have a private practice and I’m wondering your thoughts on refunds.
Clients can schedule online with me and appointments are paid in full upfront (I’ve had way too many experiences with no-shows and credit cards not working to pay for appointments). If a client pays in advance but cancels before my 24-hour policy, I refund them. But now I’m looking at how much that affects my salary, although I do not get many cancellations a year, refunds take away from my salary. I was wondering if anyone has any input or experience with no refunds to keep their salary at a steady pace without it affecting their business.
