Hello! I am an amature/hobbyist seamstress and tailor

I cant figure out the best way to alter this neckline so it drapes properly. It just seems to be too wide, even though its meant to be asymmetrical/off the shoulder (last photo is the model photo). Every spot i try and test looks bulky, puffs weird, and makes the pattern misaligned in a very obvious way

It was too expensive for me to wing it without a second opinion. Thoughts? Happy to just pin it, also happy to do some sewing. I have about a week before the wedding im attending.
