I found Kate Middleton’s EXACT sweater on ThredUp for $64 and I’m freaking out

This is why I’m addicted to secondhand shopping because HOW do these random royal-adjacent finds even end up on ThredUp 😭

Went down a little ThredUp rabbit hole today and found some surprisingly good pieces from brands people don’t talk about enough! Rag & Bone jeans for literally $20!

I feel like online thrifting gets SO much better once you stop only searching trendy brands and start paying attention to quality, silhouettes, fabrics, and interesting niche labels. Also… ThredUp mannequin photos deserve jail because half these pieces probably look 10x better on an actual person 😭

Reminder to never skip over “boring” brands while thrifting online

I almost scrolled past this Mycra Pac raincoat on ThredUp because the mannequin photo was doing it ZERO favors, but I looked the brand up and apparently it’s actually a really respected niche travel rainwear brand with a pretty loyal following.

A lot of their coats retail for hundreds of dollars new, especially the reversible/packable styles, and the whole brand aesthetic is very understated “quiet luxury traveler” instead of flashy designer branding.

It honestly reminded me that some of the best thrift finds aren’t always the obvious trendy labels everyone recognizes immediately. Sometimes the hidden gems are those weird niche brands that are super high quality and built to last!

Why do I feel like this Eskandar coat is secretly an insane ThredUp find?

Found this Eskandar raincoat on ThredUp for $303 and honestly I think it’s kind of an insane deal for the right person. Retail was listed around $382 here, but Eskandar pieces usually retail MUCH higher than that originally, especially outerwear. Their stuff is super niche luxury with a huge slow-fashion/art-to-wear following and they rarely show up secondhand in wearable everyday styles like this.
