Hello, I’m planning to apply for Engineering at PoliTo for the 2026 intake. I just saw the new calendar and it says the TIL-I is "In-Person" only. I’m currently based in SE Asia, so flying to Turin just for a 90-minute test is a huge commitment.

  1. Has anyone heard of any exceptions or remote options for international students that aren't listed yet?
  2. If I can't make it this spring, would you recommend pushing my intake to 2027?
  3. Or is it better to move to Italy for a language school first to get settled, then take the exam locally? If so, where would you recommend?

My background is A-Levels. I'm confident in the material, just stuck on the logistics. Thanks!

Hello, im an international student. Initially, i was considering to start my bachelors in Italy this year however, it seems im a bit too late. So i am currently thinking of shifting my timeline and going to a language school first for about 6-8 months and then, applying to uni the next year. For me, this would help me settle into the country without the stress of paperwork, answering CEnT-S, applying to a good uni, finding part-time work and learning italian all in the same time. Can anyone help me out if this is a good idea or not? Also if my priorities were a good language school, cheap living and a need part-time work without about 6 months, which city and institution would be my best option? Any types of further suggestion and recommendations would be much appreciated.
