[Open to Work] Corporate Finance / Treasury / CorpDev — 3+ years at Bulge Bracket IBs | Open to VC-backed startups and growth-stage companies

Hey r/startupindia,

Putting this out here because I know the best conversations happen outside job boards.

Background: I’ve spent 3+ years across an American IB (treasury and balance sheet strategy) and another American IB2 (corporate finance advisory and transaction banking), working on things most early-stage finance teams eventually need but rarely have in-house — working capital architecture, cash flow modeling, treasury setup, and deal structuring.

I have covered 150+ MNC clients on working capital and financing mandates — built valuation models, ran CCC/ROIC/EBITDA comps, structured corporate solutions-led transactions with scale exceeding $1bn and built pitchbooks that converted mandates. In my most recent I worked on balance sheet strategy, liquidity management, funding analytics, and interfaced with various regional Treasurers.

What I can actually do for a startup or VC:

- Build and own the FP&A function — financial models, budgeting, variance analysis, board decks

- Set up treasury operations from scratch — banking relationships, cash management, working capital optimization

- Support corporate development — deal evaluation, financial due diligence, cap table and funding round analysis

- Be the finance person who can talk to both your CFO and your investors in the same language

I’d like to engage in more of a strategic finance setup, that can drive decisions.

Open to: Series B and above, VC platforms with a portfolio finance/value creation mandate, or growth-stage companies building out their finance team.

Location: Bengaluru/Bombay/Delhi!

DM me or drop a comment. Happy to share my resume directly.

30 day employment speedrun - exiting this sweatshop sometime in June and am giving myself the next 30 days to find a job that I actually want to do in finance. Will report back with results. Am in India. Happy to take any feedback meanwhile!
