Hi,

I’ve had this bump on my upper eyelid since April 10. It was diagnosed as a chalazion. I’ve been doing warm compresses regularly and was given medication, but it hasn’t reduced much.

It’s not very painful, but still visibly swollen. My doctor has now suggested an injection, and I’m feeling a bit anxious about going ahead with it.

Has anyone here had a similar persistent chalazion?

Did steroid injection help?

Any side effects or risks I should be aware of?
