I’ve been out of the Air Force for about 7 years now and my wife is finally getting close to her Air Force retirement so we’ve been thinking about where to go after. It’s kind of an overwhelming decision considering for as long as I can remember we just go where the military sends us. Where are some places you all have loved living after the service?

Hey, just want the real version of what it’s like to live here. We are considering it in the next year or two. I’ve spoke with some realtors and did some research and it seems to be a friendly charming town with good schools. Drawbacks seem to be traffic and HOA? Traffic would be the least of my worry as we are moving from Oahu, and it’s terrible here. I lived in Beaufort as a kid and absolutely loved it, so I’ve always dreamed of coming back to South Carolina.
