Had an item listed for $22, eBay’s calculated shipping had the buyer paying $7 for UPS ground. UPS ground ended up being nearly $22, so after the $5 selling fee I’m only making a few bucks here.

How in the world is the worth it or profitable for anyone? I have the correct weight listed, correct shipping method listed but eBay calculated it 1/3 of the actual cost.

Anything I’m doing wrong?

Never worked any type of ship before, figured I’d get my STCW endorsements since I’ve been waiting for my entry level MMC to come back for so long.

Is there anything I should know going into the class? Any terminology I should study or is it pretty easy to pick up the content? Thanks!
