Wife placed wedding ring in rear bench seat cup holder.

Wife proceeded to close rear bench seat cup holder with wedding ring still in cup holder.

Wedding ring consequently fell “into” the seat (i.e., underneath/behind the cup holder unit), and has now potentially increased my vehicle’s resale value.

How do I go about getting it out? Cup holder unit does not appear to be removable. Have taken the carpeting off the backside of the seat but am stuck on if/how to proceed in removing the metal seat back/plate.
