Appreciation post for late whippet Indie

I’ve had her since i was young and we lost her a few weeks ago to an autoimmune disease, we are getting a new rescue puppy (as we have a big loving greyhound who has gotten very lonely) and i wanted to make a post for Indie before we focus on the new pup because she was a truly profound animal who definitely had secret superpowers🩷

abdominal pain on the side i experience sciatica…anyone else?

hello everyone, i’ve been suffering from sciatica in my right leg since september and for the past month or so i had basically no flares ups and before had been getting significantly better. which had led me to believe my assumed herniated disk had gone ‘back to normal’ a few months into my suffering i began to feel pain in my lower right abdomen, i was very worried it was my appendix but i had no other symptoms of an appendicitis and the pain came at the same time as felt the sad as my leg. after a rainy weekend almost entirely in bed finishing a research paper i had my first bad flare up last night which caused to have to take the day off today. the odd thing is that while i am feeling pain in my leg it’s mainly that abdominal pain and the rest of the pain runs down the knee which it normally goes to my ankle. i assume im getting better and i know it was me working and lying down for 48 hours (especially as my normal concerns for my leg had washed away as i hadn’t needed to be so worried abt it for a while) basically this pain is rlly frustrating and i will definitely bring it up to my physician the next time i see them but does anyone feel this too or is this very weird? if so please give me stretching advise bc i’m going crazy. TLDR: my sciatica in my right leg came back after a while of no flare ups but it’s now mainly the odd but equally painful throb in my right abdomen. is this normal/mutually experienced? tysmmm
