Under the rubble of the apartment bloc in Kyiv, was found the body of 23-year-old Poltava resident Dmytro Pavelko. He was a graduate of Poltava Scientific Lyceum No. 3 in Poltava.

He worked at a Nova Poshta branch in Kyiv. “He was very creative, always drew beautifully, thought atypically, and stood out among our classmates - recalls Dmytro’s classmate.

A Poltava English teacher who taught the young man said:

"Dymtro would come to my office as the school organizer and show me his clay figures. They were such delicate sculptures. It seemed impossible for a fifth-grader to create something like that. But he could.

Then he would show me his drawings. And they were never typical. It felt like whenever I saw him, his light and warmth enveloped me. There are very few such people, truly."

Dmytro was a student and was building his life in Kyiv.
