Help needed!

Hey guys, I rediscovered a purse of mine and I would love to start using it again. I am, however, no longer comfortable with the Harry Potter branding that's on it (iykyk) and want to get rid of that. The underlaying material is PVC according to the label and I don't want to damage it with alcohol or something. I tried heating the applique with the design but it wouldn't come loose. I also tried nail polish remover but it just made a white spot on the applique...

Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!

(And if you know where I could get more answers please let me know!)
