Cryptic note left on my paper in Korean. Help wanted
Hi, apologies in advance for soliciting help here, but I wasn’t sure of a better place to go. Please feel free to point me elsewhere if there’s somewhere more appropriate! I don’t mean to bother anyone!
A classmate of mine left some Korean characters on one of my grad school papers and I’m just trying to figure out what they could mean. Google translate and searching around online is not much helping. As far as I know, my classmate doesn’t know Korean, but they are already multilingual, so I don’t know. They could have some familiarity, or almost none. It’s unclear. (Just some context).
A line of Korean that is partially erased looks like this: 스 다 므 (In the second character, the ㄷ shape is facing the other direction in what they wrote though. And in the final character, the top line of the ㅁ extends out further though, past the edges). (Sorry, I don’t know how to use the Korean keyboard).
Another line, not erased, reads as such:
배 타 피 스
Thanks for any help.
