I got New PS4 Pro CUH-7216B, v6.00 untouched, WHAT TO TO NOW ???
I just picked up a fresh PS4 Pro CUH-7216B running untouched v6.00 firmware, and I have already swapped in a 1TB SSD to get things started.
I am looking for advice on the best way to move forward with this setup, as I want the most stable experience possible.
I am wondering whether I should stay on version 6.00 or update to 9.00 or 11.00 for the best GoldHEN compatibility and overall stability.
I am also curious if this specific model revision still requires a thermal paste refresh right away or if the factory cooling on the 72xx series holds up well enough.
Finally, if I want to use the butter exploit, I would like to know whether a firmware update is mandatory or if there is a functional path to stay on my current version. I would appreciate any suggestions from those familiar with this hardware and firmware combination.
