Beautiful Bartzella

Smells amazing and is just so lovely. A couple knocked on my door Sunday to ask where to get one. They left to go straight to Adelmans and pick one up. Love this peony so much.

We got wheels!!!

After seven ruff months being paralyzed and figuring it out, we got to play ball today 😃 Charlie did such a good job letting us get him into his wheelchair and adjusted. He had a moment of panic when he realized he was moving. He tried to run inside. I asked where his ball was and all worry was forgotten. He was ready to play!

Did my heart so much good! The absolute best mother's day gift.

Just steal it from your friends mouth 🤦 Naughty Chagoi taught them all to do it.

Tried to take a few pictures and realized that our buddy Mango was just begging for food in almost every single shot 😆 There are about twenty more just like this.

Hanging with the water puppies today. Getting ready to move both the chagoi to the larger pond. They are ridiculous and marked themselves all up trying to eat the underwater camera 🤦 We had to take it out in a matter of weeks. I always planned to move them eventually. I'm sure they will be happier in the bigger pond.

Our boy started showing signs of a second disk episode 18 months after successful surgery. Conservative care was ruff and didn't help with paralysis. He still has some pain in the one leg he tries to stand on. That's the only time he has pain, trying to use the good leg. We had to throw a fit to even get a leg x-ray and it showed ccl. But, three vets are deferring to what the neurologist said, he is paralyzed and doesn't have pain from that 🤦 Honestly has been a really frustrating six months.

We really wanted to get him a wheelchair but were afraid it was too much movement. Found this radio flyer wagon and it has been such a morale booster for all of us. My boy can ride outside to lay in the sun, catch some gentle frisbee tosses and have a pupcicle. We have been going out every day and he can't contain his excitement to get in the wagon! Tries to get in by himself.

After the past week of going outside in his wagon there hasn't been any problems with pain. So we are going to go ahead and order the wheelchair to try. Just wanted to share the wagon in case it may help someone else's pup. One side opens so that you can get the dog inside, lots of storage, and you can push or pull. It's radio flyer brand.

I haven't been posting our larger pond much. The entire top is torn apart from remodeling. Lots of love for these kids though. They are rescues, our first koi, a few with deformations that we were given to care for. It's a beautiful day to be outside with them today.
