Madcap Experiment please!

Dear Mr Wizard of the coast. To my astonishment i couldnt find [[Madcap Experiment]] in the arsenal of magic arena even though its literally legal to play in Pioneer and a Kaladesh "remaster" already got out. I only want to play it in historic so do not fear to digital print it in arena (since pioneer wont get help anyway)

on the second page of the images you can see the absolute abomination of deck i want to play but cant because of the missing madcap(lightning elemental is the madcap)
Also ignore snapcaster its a placeholder for [[flashback]]

p.s the deck is absolute trash but i love trash.

Bunch of Questions about magic (Homunculus, Indirect+Scatter, Quickening, Spellshaping)

Hello chummers,

its my pleasure to announce [posh frog meme here] that i had my first 2 gigs as aspect mage in 5e. First of all i wanted to thank everyone for the help on my thread regarding mobcontrol/control actions. It really gave me some overview and i could finally gather enough karma to get some new spells. I already have some ideas in what direction i want to go with my mage but again i have questions regarding spells i want to pick ^^

Homunculus

so i like the idea of using a homunculus ritual on a statue as a bodyguard (regardless of the efficiency) but im confused how the spell behaves in case of different weight. I know the object resistance defines how tough the minion is and the spellforce sets the offensive capabilities (aswell as attributes) but in what way does weight change this? Would a 500kg Statue i animate be as strong as an action figure of the same material? Sounds illogical if i build a 500kg stone golem (3 OR i guess?) and its weaker than a processed monowire with object resistance of 15.
If i levitate that statue above enemies and just let the statue fall how would the incoming combat section be calculated? I saw the spell fling but it gets limited per kilogram=force while levitate is kilogram=500/200=Force Hits. Levitate gives unwilling targets a way to resist the spell. Is my Homunculus unwilling? Or does he love getting levitated around? Also if i decide to use fling does my Homunculus also get damaged by the fling?

Could i give a Homunculus a meele weapon like a club?

Fireball/Ballightning/Icestorm

So 1 thing about the radius of the spells confuses me. Lets say i have Magic 7 and i decide to go yolo all in and cast a fireball Forcepower 14 (Magic x 2 if i recall correctly as max) I want to throw the fireball through an opened door into the center of a dark room. The Radius of the spell would be 14m. so here are my questions :

Lets say i dont see the center of the room can i just say i throw my fireball through the door as target and wait and hope it explodes on impact of a wall it hits (So basically throw it at an unknown target)? or would it explode in the middle of the frame of the door since it was technically my last thing i could see? (ignore scatter)

In case i see the center of the room and i throw the fireball at that point and the room itself is smaller than the 14m radius: Would behavior of the fireball change based on having a smaller room like grenades and chunky salsa?

How can enemies evade the fireball if the explosion is bigger than room itself. I mean the fireball explosion is a hemisphere correct? So if he can't evade because of logic he shouldnt be able to? Or is the evasion just the technicality of the process and is explained like "he evades the impact on him w/e"

Permanent spells and Quickening (Metamagic)

If a permanent spell (like increase Attribute) gets dispelled by enemies even though i spend karma on it. Is the karma gone or do i get it back? The reason im asking is that the rulebook doesnt clarfiy that and the Shadowrun 5e wiki tells me i only lose the karma while sustaining it
while many reddit threads stated that you permantly lose the karma.

"You can manipulate your sustained spells into a sort of loop, so that they sustain themselves instead of relying on you to do it for them. To quicken a spell, take a Complex Action and spend karma while you’re sustaining the spell. You must spend at least 1 Karma but may spend up to the Force of the spell. The spell becomes permanent and gets a dice pool bonus against dispelling (p. 295) equal to the amount of Karma you spent on it."

Spellshaping and Fireball

"You can reshape your area spells at the cost of making casting them harder. For every –1 dice pool penalty you take to your Spellcasting Test, you may either increase an area spell’s radius by 1 meter, decrease it by 1 meter, or create a 1-meter-radius spherical “bubble” within the area of your spell that remains unaffected by it. You must declare the use of this metamagic when you cast the area spell. You may not take more dice worth of penalty than your Magic Rating."

So i cast fireball 10m radius and chose to take 1 penalty to protect 1m wide area where a friend of mine stands. In case the spell scatters does the protection also scatter away from the original position or does it stay even if the spell scatters?

Could i cast a fireball with targetpoint on the exact point im standing but protect the 1m area around myself and basically create a fire explosion around myself?

thats it. I hope you can answer my questions if you have the time. Man im so thrilled about this game and im really upset i didnt get to play it earlier :D
