should i take the risk?

Hi, I’m 27F working in the fashion industry for 5 years. I’ve worked with some incredible brands and got to lead collaborations with PepsiCo and Absolut along the way.

I quit my last role about a year ago and took a 6 month break to process some personal grief and figure out my next step. During that time I freelanced, started a small consultancy and got more active online.

But I need financial stability while the rest takes shape. So three weeks ago I started applying and got some good responses, one offer converted and I joined a week ago.

Now a Shark Tank funded F&B startup has reached out. They want someone senior to lead their entire creative function — content, visual direction, creative strategy, team building. Since F&B is new for me they’ve said they’ll bring in industry seniors to support me initially.

Here’s my situation honestly:

I don’t have the bandwidth — financially or emotionally — to be in between jobs again if this doesn’t work out.

At my previous job I also carry this insecurity that I was executing someone else’s vision rather than leading my own. I don’t want that again.

The startup is exciting because I’d own an entire vertical at a brand with real visibility. But it’s 6 days a week and they’re offering slightly below my asking salary with ₹4L worth of ESOPs at a ₹25 crore valuation.

My current job is a fashion brand — my zone — where I also get to build a team and lead creatively. It’s 5 days a week but less visible and no equity.

Is the startup worth the risk or should I stay where I am and build from here?”

TL;DR

•	27F, 5 years in fashion/creative strategy, just started at a funded fashion startup one week ago

•	A Shark Tank funded F&B startup is now offering me the same senior creative role in a completely new category

•	They’re offering slightly lower than asking salary but ₹4L worth of ESOPs and more brand visibility

•	It’s 6 days a week vs 5 days at current job and I cannot afford to be unemployed again if it doesn’t work out

•	Do I stay safe in my zone or take the risk on a more visible exciting brand?

why do people hate and not hate modi?

This is a genuine question as i do not have any political knowledge. I am 18 years old and still dont know anything about indian politics and politicians. It is high time for me to grow a spine and form my opinion given the state of the country and the world.

As far as I understood from the teeny tiny bit of stuff i have read till now, modi government is doing better than the last one. The fear of terrorism has lessenend to say the least. But then the caste and religious divide is so huge now. Its basically like the britishers divide and rule thing. Everyone is attacking everyone. But is that because of the government or due to the dehumanisation and desensitization of the people due to the current state of the world.

Can someone please genuinely explain their pov? I really need to understand

both pro-bjp and anti-bjp povs would be greatly appreciated
