First two are my right side, second two are my left side.
My surgeon is notoriously difficult to get ahold of so I thought I'd see if this is worth reaching out via popular opinion first.
Originally, my left side was healing visually slower than my right, my right side was looking visually better but much more sore.
Last week, I lost the last bits of the scar tape and the nipples were scabless and able to be uncovered.
This week, I woke up to sharp, tearing, pain on my right side. It went away when I repositioned (I'm a side sleeper and at week 3 was able to resume side sleeping). Later that same day, I noticed that my nips were looking a little dry and when adding lotion to my right one, it leaked from the top edge. It didn't look irritated but to be on the safe side, I applied neosporin and covered it. I noticed my scar is stretching on that right side and is looking more red around the edges.
It has continued to bother me, I am officially 5 weeks post op today. Little things like wiping, leaning, and carrying things well below 10 pounds make the tearing sensation return.
It IS possible I injured myself recently but I can't recall what came first, the tearing pain, or my fight with a door.
