to convince her mother to let her be with her daughter
Hi everyone, I have a pretty strange relationship with my girlfriend, to put it mildly. Everything was normal for the first few months, but things got weird starting in December. They practically wouldn't let her go anywhere; her mom always wanted to accompany her (she was 15 then, and I was 16 when we started dating). Her mother doesn't know we're together because she forbade her daughter from having a boyfriend. The thing is, since December, I think she suspects we are because she won't let her go anywhere, and it's not fair. Obviously, I want to see the person I love, and I haven't seen her since February. We've tried everything, but it never works out. It's like everything is pulling us in some direction, like telling her mom we're a couple and asking her to accept me. The problem is, her mother is a horrible person. We don't even have the kind of trust a mother and daughter have to talk about things, and when she tries, her mom ignores her or changes the subject. That's the thing—everything could go wrong and end, or maybe it could work out. The only thing I'm sure of is that I don't know what will happen. We plan to tell her on Saturday. There's a week left, and if it doesn't go well, it would be my last week with her. I don't know, she's more scared than I am, and I always try to calm her down, but deep down I'm scared too. It doesn't have to be that way.
