I’m based in Botswana and currently working on a small tool focused on helping with cashbook preparation, specifically turning bank statements into cleaner, more usable formats for accounting workflows.

I wanted to understand how people here are currently handling this:

• Are you still manually capturing transactions?
• Using bank feeds or imports?
• How much time does this usually take during month-end?

From what I have seen, especially with SMEs and multiple clients, this process can still be quite time-consuming.

Not trying to promote anything here, just genuinely trying to understand how accountants, bookkeepers, or business owners in Botswana are dealing with this.

Would really appreciate any insights.
