Is it the best way to play the game? No. But it’s good enough for me. It’s great for short sessions during breaks in my workday, until I can get back home and play on my PC. Locking it at 30 fps allows for a more consistent frame rate without needing to use LSFG or even in-game frame generation. I’ll include pictures showing the in-game settings.
Also, can we just appreciate the powerhouse that the Steam Deck is? I’ve owned mine since release, and the mileage I’ve gotten out of it over the years has cemented it as one of the GOATs.
Edit: Is there a way to fix my richter scale of a fps graph? I didn't realize it was such an issue.
This article by Paul Tassi is a great little read summarizing what has been going on lately if you're unaware.
I've been using Apollo for a few months after first using Sunshine. Been interested in Vibepollo but I read somewhere that Vibeshine was the more stable version so I tried that instead. Idk if I'm just more experienced with it now but I enjoyed the set up a little more. Anyways I believe I got Crimson Desert streaming at 4k60 over ethernet using AppleTV on a LG OLED C4 77”. Stunning performance and lag feels like a thing of the past now.
