I got into a desired VIP as a senior (first semester as a senior) with no experience with research/internships. I think that's amazing and am truly grateful since this will help me with gaining experience in my desired career field and may help my resume.

The problem is that there is a major time conflict with a course I need as a prerequisite for a lot of my future classes. The other classes are full, and the professor I got for this course is well-known as a good professor.

I would love advice on which route I should take, the VIP or the course I need as a prereq?

I transferred in, so the classes I have taken/need to take are a bit out of order from the standard Georgia Tech pathway.

Thanks!
