An annoying where was I post, probably

Hi— hoping you can get me back to this place stuck in my head. Around 15 years ago we rented a cabin on Rainbow Lake for several summers and did the 6er with our kids/teens. There was one hike where there was a small waterfall and wide creek where we sat and ate cheese sandwiches . I wanted to just hang out there the rest of the day but we finished the hike; I don’t think we passed it on the way back so it must have been a loop. A I’ve read the summaries for the 6er hikes and I’m thinking it must not have been one of those. I think we parked at a nature center sort of thing (not the one in Tupper lake) or some place that had info about plants along the beginning of the trail. Any ideas?

5x12 pond questions

I’m attempting a 12x5 rectangl, 3.5 at deepest section, ledge around 2 sides. It is in a city backyard, in a historic district, so it has to be sort of formal (ie not natural looking) and a spout in the side to move water and create sound. A few plants. Maybe a fish? Our dog is a bit of a wild card in this. Everything I see says pump and aerator but not sure if the spout would take care of aeration in a pond this small? Also not sure how the electricity works on this; all of the drawings show pump/aerator on bottom of pond —no cord, somehow magically working, but i know they plug in. Does the cord just get hidden up along liner and then poked through top capstones and trenched to the place where you’re plugging it in? Or am I missing something?
