We are planning an intimate wedding in Cebu with fewer than 30 guests,
and we’re deciding between Crimson and Shangri-La Mactan.

So far, Shangri-La feels more classic and experienced overall,
while Crimson seems more flexible and customizable.

One thing we noticed is that Crimson’s reception dinner options look more diverse, while Shangri-La’s menu and available venues/dates seem more limited.
We’re not on a super tight budget, but we also don’t want to overspend.

For those who considered or experienced both:

Which venue felt better for a smaller wedding?
Was Shangri-La worth the premium?
How was the food and overall guest experience?

Would really appreciate any honest opinions or experiences.

at Shangri-La Cebu Ocean Pavilion
and have many questions:

1. Do most couples work with Shangri-La’s in-house coordinator, or hire an outside wedding planner/stylist?
   Did you usually contact Shangri-La directly through their official website/email?

2. For an intimate wedding with 20–30 guests, what’s the estimated budget range?

3. How much is the Ocean Pavilion venue rental for the ceremony only?

4. Is package pricing negotiable, or usually fixed?

How was your experience planning the wedding there?
