Is my grinder the problem? (Timemore C5 ESP Pro Grinder)
Bought a coffee that I drank today. The barista gave me the exact recipe he used, and the only difference is he used an EK43.
But, when I tried at home with my grinder, same grind size, actually a lil coarser than what he did on the EK, my pour over stalled.
It was a 5 pour recipe,
Medium grind
15g, 92c 1:18
50,60,60,60,30
3:30-4mins
Same beans, same roast date, same batch, similar brew time.
His was bright, juicy, sweet no bitterness and low acidity
Mine was bitter, a lil sharp acidity, and some sweetness at the back.
I’m starting to question is this grinder holding back my flavours? Looking at a C40 rn
