Santa Ana correctional officer

Does any one have any insight on being a correctional officer for the city of Santa Ana , California. I have the pat test and all my interviews in two weeks. Also how long did it take to get an academy date. I graduate college in June so won’t be able to commit until then.

Do I have a chance in small claims court

Hi I am a senior in college majoring in aviation. My degree is tied to me finishing my commercial license which I was planning to have done before May 2 which is my graduation date. The flight school my university partnered with lost their license to be a flight school under part 141 (the training program I’m in) in August of last year. They told us nothing about until 3 days before the spring semester January 9th and said that it would be resolved in 10-12 days. They still haven’t been re-certified til now. They didn’t include that they lost their certification in August they just sent an email saying there’s an issue with recertification. A month later the FAA sent out letter to students, informing us we had been training under a school that lost its certificate last August. That how we found out it’s been months. After the letter ,The university and flight school had a joint meeting with students and said it happened because of “human error.” After that, they told me (I have it in audio recording and text message) that I could fly 30 hours and have the all transfer to the new school. I stupidly believed them bc I was scared I was falling behind for graduation and flew 18 hours for a total of 25 hours to transfer. I moved to the new flight school and they told me they can only take 6 of my 25 hours. I need 120 flight hours to finish the course btw. So I’ve lost 7k now because my hours they said would all transfer did not. And now don’t have enough money to finish my license.I asked them to refund me all the hours after their certificate lapsed, as well as gas money because the new school is an hour away, as well as the extra money I have to spend because the new school is also more expensive. They only offered to pay for gas and attached so many rules to the offer and also told me to sign an nda. I’ve lost 7k already and will be losing about 12k due to this whole situation. Do u think I have a good case to go to court. I have so much documentation of how I was wronged. Location: in California
