I know what a save is often used ironically but if the only attempted save in the play was actually a good save… maybe take the hint that it was a real compliment.

Basically this last game the other team were both shooting on goal. My teammate mad w a good save and it gave him a breakaway to also score.

I said “what a save, nice shot”… to my teammate. We had been complimenting each other all game and not once had I “what a saved the other team when I scored” not had I sarcastic said “nice shot” if they missed.

Yet somehow after this my teammate types “why are you being toxic?” Didn’t even have time to answer him as I didn’t want to get scored on while typing. Lol
