After having your common sense literally slapped into you, you polished your spine and dumped him on the spot. Leaving him speechless, you left your house to sleep in a hotel before making arrangements to move out tomorrow evening. Returning to the house, you found it more quiet then you were used to. It smelled of incense he used occasionally when he indulged in his hobby, occult rituals you'd find on the internet. Silly but exotic, you thought at the time, but now it was just unsettling. But not as unsettling as hearing him speak from behind you. "Welcome home, puppy."
