I’ve had a Ninja 500 for a while and I’ve put 7500kms on it. I want to get a bigger bike that I can keep for a while

I really like the 2026 R7!!! bike is finally caught up tech wise, love that it’s lightweight and it’s one of the only bikes that does it for me so far looks wise. Little worried about it being underpowered and also considering the gsx8r. I would be planning on having exhaust and tune on both. Leaning R7 for now…

Then there’s the R9, CP3 engine is lovely from everything I’ve heard and I love having power low end as I don’t hit the track often. But it’s also a chunk more expensive, more aggressive ergos and more power to get myself in trouble. Wondering if I should skip the r7 and just get this. Also looked at the ZX6R but without planning on tracking it a lot, I’m not sure Id enjoy a complete super sport for street riding.

TLDR - R9/ZX6R both sick bikes but maybe too much for me, I have a ninja 500. I’m leaning 2026R7 but GSX8R kinda sick too just ugly lmao. Help me :)

I’ve decided I want a sports bike after my ninja 500. Deciding between the new 2026 R7 and the ZX6R. I will also ride this around the city so I want to be comfortably enough for a sports bike.

New R7 has better ergos and comfort. ZX6R felt more committed but you get more horsepower and bang for your buck it feels like.

Please give me your thought and any other bikes you think I should consider (I like the 8R just a little too upright)
