I am trying to apply for a warehouse role and I wanted to ask how I can transfer the Royal Mail experience to the following JD because I am not sure how to match it exactly including summary, experience and skills. I am only referring to that role because thats the only similar role, please ignore the other roles, I just had this CV from earlier.

JD link: https://jobs.genpt.com/job/barking/warehouse-operative/505/93459143216

Thanks in advance!

How can I apply my current experience to similar roles?

Hi all,

I am new here and I have a question regarding my career.

I am from the UK and I currently have about 1 and half years of experience as a mail sorter at mail company (Royal Mail), the job is a 0 hour contract but I have gained a solid amount of experience in working in the warehouse or more appropriately, a mail centre. My role mainly involves processing and sorting parcels, assisting with loading/unloading trucks, dispatching items, and supporting other operational areas as required by managers.

Now my main question is: How can I use this experience to apply for similar permanent roles? I know I wont find the exact roles, but how can I transfer this sorting experience into other similar roles. And where can I find such roles, especially in the UK (London).

Is this true or just a myth?

People who have full time 9-5 jobs wish they were at home chilling, whether it's a job a in a specific field, even top fields like IT, health care, law etc. And those who don't have decent jobs wish they had a job like those mentioned above or just any decent job.

Or are full time people actually enjoying their jobs? Or at least some. And same with those who are unemployed?
