Heyy guys! As the title says I finally managed to make FC26 playable online! (No input lag in UT)

45+ FPS IN MENUS, 60FPS STABLE IN-GAME, RARE FRAMEDROPS IT ONLY HAPPENS DURING THE START OF HALFTIME FOR LIKE A SEC AND WHEN OPENING UT PACKS.

Here’s my whole documentation running FC 26 on tiny10 23H2 on steamdeck:

In-game settings:
• Hypermotion overlay > off
• Graphics > low preset
• Display > fullscreen, 16:9, vsync off , unlimited frames, full frame, 65%, dynamic thingy off
(Preferably use tactical cam for online & offline)

Windows Settings:
• Powerplan > ultimate mode (this can be googled and added via cmd)
• Close any other app/extra process before running the game
• (Optional) change windows UI to performance mode instead of appearance)

AMD Control Settings:
>> So this is not included after installing the latest APU driver from the steam website (2024) you have to manually download amd software version 24.10.02.03 and 7zip
Use 7zip to extract the downloaded amd .exe and within it you will find many files, search for « ccc2_install.exe » and install it. It will than give you access the AMD control panel.

PS: I’m using the OLED APU driver on the LCD model, works perfectly if you’re hesitation getting it!

Well here’s the settings for the AMD Control App for FC26:
• Chill mode > Yes , min fps 57, max fps 60
• Vsync > always on
• Radeon image sharpening > 80%
• Texture filtering quality > performance
• Tessellation > AMD Optimized

Leave everything else to it’s default setting.

Feel free to ask me any questions :)

For those trying to launch steam on boot with bigpicture mode but it resembles more the steamOS than normal bigpicture UI, also having the wifi icon working i found a solution

1- create a desktop icon for steam
2- right mouse click>properties> in the « target » line add
*« -steamdeck -big picture »*

So it looks something like this:
« “Directory/steam.exe“ -steamdeck -bigpicture »

3- apply
4- click win+r to access regedit and type «shell:startup »
5- create a copy of the edited steam shortcut in that location and change it’s name if you want to «STEAM BIGPICTURE » or anything else.. this step is optional so you know which one is it in taskmanager>startup apps

And voila! Now whenever you boot into windows it will boot into steam bigpicture mode that looks like the steamdeck version with the wifi icon working.

As the title says, i dualboot between Win10 and steamOS however everytime i wanna switch the OS i go into the BIOS, i saw some reddit posts how on certain bootloaders stuff won’t work properly and I even tried for myself « clover » which turned as a flop (no input unless i boot into bios first)

Any recommendations??

I just installed windows (dual booting through my main partition) And got FC26 on a discount on steam and it works great! Here’s all the info for future references:

-I’m using a debloated version of windows10 under the name « tiny10 23h2 » (I’m using win10 cause it doesn’t require secure boot enabled which if not enabled it may not launch the game cause of Easy Anti-Cheat)

-Using the official drivers for LCD model from steamOS page

-I also applied WUB (Windows Update Blocker) so simply no weird updates happen and ruin my bootloader (I’m using Clover to dualboot)

-as for the in-game settings I set everything to «LOW» and make sure to keep the Vsync on> half-rate (if you turn it off there will be massive tearing.)

I’m constantly getting a stable 60fps with some frame drops that hardly happen from time to time.

Experience is not bad at all, playable i’d give it 9/10.

I’m getting this error on FC26 tiny10, the games runs perfectly tho.. ive just been wondering is there any updates to avoid this warning? Im using the LCD official drivers for the APU, should I use the OLED one instead on my LCD deck?

Also if i do use the OLED drivers, do i have to delete the LCD drivers and than install the OLED’s or simply install them and it will overwrite on it’s own?

Lastly, will the OLED drivers get rid of this error? (Are they 23.19.0.0+ ?)
