Some ARM vs x86 issues
So I just got a Surface Laptop 13 inch. Solid metal body and nice keyboard, but for the rest I'm not very happy. I have doubts about a few software issues.
Task manager. The last column is architecture
I installed GeForce Now and little more. I chose the 'ARM64 Windows beta' from the Nvidia website. Office and ELANFPSService (I suppose these are touchpad drivers?) were preinstalled. Why are there two preinstalled pieces of software in x64 instead of ARM64? Can this be fixed? Also, why is Nvidia's GeForce ARM64 beta in x64 too?
I can't properly change the UI language. It's strange. I'm a Windows 11 veteran. My main PC (x64) runs Windows 11 in Catalan. Around 80% of the interface is translated into Catalan, but when I changed the Surface to Catalan in the same way, only around 20% switched to Catalan. Most of the menus that are in Catalan on my gaming PC remain in English on the Surface, and I can't figure out why.
I created a custom keyboard layout with Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator (MSKLC), which I have used for years. How can I install it in my Surface? Is there any way to make Microsoft Keyboard Layout compatible? Or simply bring my layout from my gaming PC to my Surface Laptop?
Is there any pen compatible with Surface Laptop 13 inch? Or that's just for the pricier models?
