1095-A Interview error: You need to make an entry in column B for SLCSP, but Column B has all zeros filled in.

1095-A Interview error: You need to make an entry in column B for SLCSP, but Column B has all zeros filled in.

SOLVED: Easy and quick fix.

I contacted H&R Block and they said that I wouldn't be able to E-file with zeros in column B SLCSP and would have to mail it in. I tried to e-file and they were right. It passed the accuracy check for Federal but not for e-file. They had some message about contacting healthcare.gov to get the figures, and they were right.

I called healthcare.gov on a Friday night and got someone right away. I was also perusing the web site. It turns out that some people did get incorrect 1095-A forms like mine. the SLCSP entries can be calculated by the representative or you can do it yourself using the health coverage tax tool. I did both. The whole call took 16 minutes. The accuracy check for e-file no longer has the 1095-A errors. Keep the information for your records. Note that they don't send out a corrected 1095-A.

I'm going through the interview for 1095-A and filled in Column B SLCSP with all zeros. When I click on Next, it gives me the following warning:

You need to make an entry in column B for SLCSP

You haven't made an entry in column B for SLCSP (Second Lowest Cost Silver Plan) on the previous screen.

Without this entry, you won't be able to e-file or get a premium tax credit.

The written 1095 - A that you received may not have a value for SLCSP.

I checked the form and all of the fields have 0.00 in them. I even went back and unchecked the Copy previous month and typed them in. Has anyone else come across this?
