Repairing old baby blanket?

Repairing old baby blanket?

Hi everyone! I have a small question, and have no clue if this is the place to ask, but I thought I would ask it anyways.

I have an old baby blanket, that’s almost about 20 years old. It is a blue jean teddy bear baby blanket. It is pink, with a faded bear in overalls on the front, that has flowers.

Now, I have had to replace the edging on it from satin to something stronger already. It is not in horrible condition, but it is becoming a little threadbare. The soft fluff in the back is pulling out in little patches a bit, and gaining thinning patches, where the design is wearing off.

I have tried my very best to keep it in good condition and keep mending as accurate as possible, but I am a little lost on what to do about the threadbare patches.

I have always wanted to buy a second, perhaps to combine the two, but alas after months of searching, this pink one in particular has never crossed my path.

Any tips to try and fix this or stop it? It is the only sensory comfort I have left. I am willing to learn or do anything to keep it as long as possible.

Environmental Bachelors or Civil Bachelors?

I have just completed my first environmental engineering, and I have been going back and forth with a decision.

I love environmental. I know that’s what I want to do. However, I have been told it may be better to get a bachelors in civil, then get an environmental masters. Also to do environmental based work. This would allow me more job security and a more stable career.

I really only want to do environmental though. So I don’t know if it’s better to swap over, or to stay where I am. Not a lot of the other subdivisions of civil interest me, but I fear I haven’t looked into them enough.

With that being said, I hoped to get some other perspectives on this, because I am at a bit of a loss on what to do. Civil bachelors with environmental masters, or environmental bachelors with additional masters?
