Hi everyone, I’m in a confusing situation with my status and could really use some clarification on the 90-day restoration period.

My Timeline:

• PGWP Expiry: February 12, 2026.
• Study Permit Applied: Before my PGWP Expired (Inside Canada applicant).
• Study Permit Refusal Date: April 10, 2026.

My Questions:

1. When does my 90-day restoration period start? Does it count from February 12, 2026 (when the PGWP expired) or April 10, 2026 (the day I received the refusal)?
2. Am I eligible to apply for a study permit while on restoration since my PGWP expired? My original plan was to study, but now that the initial application was refused, I’m unsure if I can try again as part of my restoration application.
3. My initial study permit application was refused because of missing police certificate.

I’ve read conflicting info, some say the 90 days start from the permit expiry, but since I had maintained status until the refusal, I'm hoping it starts from April 10.
