Hi all. I have had the Nano Cortex for a while now and find myself always switching back to my old set up as I feel quite underwhelmed with the sounds I get.

I always tend to go back to my Solar Chug pedal(fx return) to get good tight chugy rhythm sounds but always end up going back to the NC as I want it to work out for me.

so my questions are..

- Is the Chug Pedal just better than the NC for what I want?

- Is running the NC into the FX return the best option?

- Anything I should consider?

The gear i use is LTD arrow(fishmans), ENGL 25w KT77 Fireball, ENGL 2x12 with V30s
