I put in an application for an internship last Tuesday. The next day, I received a text from the talent acquisition manager that I was moved forward and an email to complete 2 PI index assessments (behavioral and cognitive). I responded back thanking them for the opportunity and I completed the assessments an hour after they were sent. Once completed I was told the next step would be an interview if I’m selected. Afterward… it’s been silence. Granted, it’s only been 2 business days since I completed the assessments. However, being that the internship is supposed to start in May and the quick turnaround time after submitting an application, I kinda just assumed that if I were selected for an interview, it would have happened already.

Would it be too soon to email for a follow up? Should I just assume I wasn’t selected for an interview and move on? Or am I just being entirely too impatient?

Hello! I’m 20F and have been dealing with alopecia areata since I was around the age of 8. It started with the typically patchiness and then eventually I lost my full scalp of hair. However, throughout the years I’ve only ever lost the hair on my scalp. I’ve kept my eyebrows, eyelashes, leg hair, armpit hair, etc. but this week I’ve noticed a small bald spot appearing in the tail of my right eyebrow. It’s very smooth, but also a little painful. Almost as if there’s a pimple there or the hair was tweezed. In over 10 years of experiencing alopecia areata, I’ve NEVER felt pain from hair loss. It’s not unbearable but definitely sore to the touch. It’s smooth and I don’t see any signs of hair growth in that area. I do have a history of getting acne in my eyebrow area but I’ve never noticed signs of hair loss because of it.

I just didn’t think it was possible that in ALL my time of having a certain type of alopecia, it could change to a different one. Don’t get me wrong, I knew it was possible just not after years. Now I’m extremely nervous about potentially having to adjust to a new change. My whole thing was “yeah I’m bald, but I have my eyebrows.” And now… I just don’t know what to think anymore.

20F and I have been sexually active again for some time since I’ve gotten with my boyfriend. I have never orgasmed before and I find it really hard to. Even when I’m just masturbating externally via clitorial stimulation, it’s kinda just this sensation that doesn’t lead anywhere. I feel sensation with penetration but nothing that feels like it’ll bring me close to an orgasm. I’ve definitely been close to an orgasm before though, feeling it build in my stomach and an immense amount of pleasure and then… nothing. It just disappears like it was never happening. Me and my boyfriend have tried stimulating my clit while penetrating and it most definitely felt good and maybe we should experiment with that longer. However, I have noticed that oral feels AMAZING when I’m being fingered at the same time. And definitely felt closer to an orgasm when that’s happening rather than just regular oral.

Idk I just feel so bad because my boyfriend really wants to bring me to an orgasm. Even though I tell him I enjoy our sex life, he feels bad for being the only one to orgasm and he wants me to experience it as well.
