Beanie is a coffee bean tracker for iOS. Log your beans, add tasting notes, track flavours on a custom flavour wheel, and see where your beans come from on a map.

Great for anyone who geeks out over their coffee and wants to remember what they're drinking and what they thought of it.

Free Coffee Bean Tracking and Coffee Journal App

I built a little app called Beanie. It's a coffee tracking app for keeping notes on the beans you're drinking. Roast, origin, tasting notes, flavour wheel, that kind of thing.

It's designed to be simple and approachable rather than overly technical, so more of a "coffee lover" than "coffee snob". If you're the kind of person who finds a bean you love and immediately wants to remember it, it's for you.

Would love feedback from anyone who wants to poke around, there's in-app feedback if anything feels off!

Available free on the App Store

I finally tried SwiftUI after years in Flutter, made an app!

I really wanted to learn iOS development to get into the native-side of app development (I've been doing Flutter for cross-platform for a few years now).

Overall it's been a refreshing experience which a lot of things just working in a way that felt genuinely surprising coming from Flutter.

MapKit being completely plug-and-play was a highlight. No API keys, no config, stuff just works. Coming from juggling Google Maps setup that felt really nice!

LiquidGlass has been a fun, and interesting, challenge. Though, honestly, I'm still coming to grips with how to go from using it to really making it look good. Still figuring out how to make it look intentional rather than just "applied". If anyone has thoughts on that I'd love to hear them!

The project itself is called "Beanie" and it's a simple coffee tracking app where you can note down which coffee blends you like, how they tasted etc.

Would love feedback from people who know their stuff. There's in-app feedback if anything feels off!

You can grab it from the App Store if you want to poke around 😄
