Congratulations to Real Sociedad's assistant manager John Maisano for becoming the first Australian coach to win the Copa del Rey in Spain that's a massive achievement. Anyone know if he is the first Australian whether player or coach to win? I know that John Aloisi played in a final once but Osasuna lost that game.

I'm really enjoying seeing the success of Australians in the managerial and coaching field in recent years. We've had some top quality players in the past but it would be great if we are now entering a golden era of Australian coaching.
