With the recent rise in scam attempts, this is an official and final reminder for everyone participating in buying and selling on this subreddit. Decluttering works on trust, but that trust must be supported by caution and responsibility from both buyers and sellers.

• All transactions must strictly be done through UPI only. The use of third-party apps, unknown payment links, wallets, or any external payment gateways is not allowed under any circumstances. If someone insists on using anything other than standard UPI methods, consider it a red flag and do not proceed.

• Before making any payment, buyers must ensure proper verification of the product. Always ask for clear pictures of the actual item(not stock images) and don’t hesitate to request multiple angles or additional details if needed. Sellers are expected to be transparent and cooperative in sharing all relevant information. If a seller refuses, delays, or avoids providing proof, it is strongly advised to back out of the deal.

Sellers are required to provide EXPIRY DATES & INVOICE if applicable.

• For basic accountability and safety, it is mandatory that both the buyer and seller exchange phone numbers before any transaction takes place. Decluttering is built on trust, and if you are not comfortable sharing basic contact details, you probably should not be buying or selling here. Refusal to share contact information should not be ignored and is often a sign to avoid proceeding further.

• Users are strongly encouraged to trust their instincts while dealing. If something feels rushed, suspicious, or too good to be true, take a step back. Scammers often create urgency to push quick decisions and avoid scrutiny.

• Always check the seller's post history and reviews before buying. If it's the first time selling by the seller, shift the conversation to whatsapp first and then proceed with the payment and additional details. Always reverse search in any case.

• While this community is built on trust, it is important to understand that moderators are not responsible for verifying the authenticity of listings or mediating disputes between users. Every individual is responsible for conducting their own due diligence before sending money.

• Any suspicious behavior, misleading listings, or scam attempts will result in an immediate ban without warning. This is a strict, zero-tolerance policy to ensure the safety of the community.
