2021 CX-9 wireless CarPlay upgrade
Just picked up a 2021 Grand Touring CX-9 for the wife. I want to put wireless CarPlay in it. We previously had a 2023 CX-5 that I installed the OEM part that adds wireless CarPlay. I was intending to do the same to this car but I’m reading if it has the 10.25 inch screen it just requires a firmware update? Have any of you done this? Is this something the dealer has to do? Or can I do this firmware update myself. I tried the Google machine but I can’t find much info on it.
