Dekho, mene 12th abhi diya tha. 60% aaya hai, okay hai, maan liya us time itna serious nahi tha. JEE diya hu, CUET diya hu, but kuch khas nahi hua.

Ab college dekh raha tha private, but sab me PCM aggregate ka criteria pura nahi ho raha tha. Management quota se 2.5 lakhs me GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management me BTech CS mil raha hai, aur Galgotias University 5 lakhs maang raha hai.

Papa bol rahe hai ki ek saal drop le lo, JEE dubara do aur ISC me improvement exam bhi de do 12th ka. Isliye thoda confuse hu ki kya sahi rahega.

Kya tier 3 college le lena better rahega aur skills pe focus karu, ya drop leke ek proper try du? Genuine advice chahiye from people who were in similar situation.

My Class 12 result is around 60.4% overall (ISC).

Subject-wise:

• English: 83
• Computer Science: 82
• Physics: 54
• Chemistry: 45
• Maths: 38

PCM percentage is lower, so I know that may affect eligibility.

I am from Uttar Pradesh, but I’m open to colleges in other states too if fees are reasonable.

Looking for:

• BTech admission for 2026
• Direct admission / management / merit-based / entrance-based options
• Decent colleges where placements and environment are okay
• Preferably CSE / IT related branches
• Budget-friendly options also welcome

I know my marks are not great, so I’m looking for realistic suggestions, not top-tier unrealistic ones.

Please suggest:

1. Colleges I can actually get into
2. Whether private colleges are worth it in my case
3. If BCA/BSc CS would be smarter than weak BTech options
4. Any counseling rounds / alternate routes I should know about
