My latest acquisition:
The Remington Portable 1.
According the TTDB it is a November 1924 model.
Which makes it almost 102 years old.
And it still works. Even the platen is fine.
Only needs some proper cleaning.
And somebody who could give me some advice how I could align the keys caps properly, especially the G.
I’ve been recently mostly using this ink I bought on AliXpress: The Majohn Mulberry flavor. Unfortunately it comes only in these tiny 18ml bottles which is really annoying because I want 50ml at least. But adding up bottles is not only environmentally friendly, but makes the final price higher than a 50ml Pilot ink.
Does anyone know if Majohn offer larger bottles.
The seller I have this from does offer 50ml bottles but they are labeled differently and completely in Chinese, which I am not able to read, unfortunately.
