The Phantasmoon Games summarized in one sentence
The Connection of Elation, Abundance and Voracity in Planarcadia v3 [THEORY]
This is the third iteration of my theory that i had in 4.1
With the recent DU expansion, there came a very interesting part of the Moonlit Tales which, in my opinion, describes the creation of the Phantasmoon Games, and I decided to dig deeper into its implications. I was not surprised that it was a massive fate reference at all.
I also refined it using the readables in Planarcadia, especially the “Cake of God Hypothesis”.
And most importantly, the recent 4.2 has soft-confirmed this theory:
>>!Kuchiba: "The remains of the Aeon Oroboros are on Ahatopia, right?"!<
This was the excerpt of it:
>"The pink-haired girl lay by the tree, letting out a lazy yawn."
-Is probably referring to Evanescia. See below for the explanation.
>"What a coincidence. I saw that troupe master not too long ago. She was standing backstage, conducting a chorus of singers cut from cardboard."
The "cardboard" singers represent how the history of the Swarm Disaster and Voracity has been flattened into a flimsy, harmless play for the public to consume — advertising it from a 2D view, without actually telling the real (3D)
>"Sing of that ancient era, of the Imperator Insectorum's birth. Did the first Mourning Actors lend their Gondola to the Fools, or was it stolen by them?"
This confirms the timeline is the Swarm Disaster. It suggests that the two sides of Elation, the Mourning Actors and Masked Fools clashed or combined to build the "Gondola". Though Gondolas are attributed to Mourning Actors in general.
This is actually directly backed up by the Swarm Disaster readables. The text states that:
"a blurred ripple appeared in a goblet, which the Masked Fools interpreted as a message from Aha, calling them to assist other Aeons. In response, the Masked Fools stole a gondola from the Mourning Actors and embarked on a journey through the stars — a journey that would last many Amber Eras, with passengers from all worlds and factions joining along the way."
That's both sides of Elation — the Mourning Actors and the Masked Fools — operating the same vessel during the Swarm Disaster period. The Gondola as coalition transport is confirmed.
>"In an era before the moon had risen, a serpent with a hundred heads coiled upon the earth. Its venom corroded the land, seeping along the horizon to permeate the starry sky."
The events of this myth predate the formation of the Phantasmoon by Aha themselves. The serpent is most likely Oroboros, the Aeon of Voracity.
>"The Kingdom of Stars sent its most gallant knights, vowing to slay this wicked monster once and for all."
A coalition of Aeons basically ganged up to fight Oroboros.
>"The Lunar Knight severed its head with the crescent, the Wax Knight melted its body... The knights all played their part, finally severing the last immortal head."
The Lunar Knight is most likely Aha themselves. The Wax Knight is likely Qlipoth "melting the body" suggests Qlipoth attempting to physically entomb Oroboros, while Aha handled the conceptual "heads." (or the concept of hunger)
>"But none could have foreseen that the giant serpent's corpse refused to die."
Even with all of that, they still couldn't finish off Oroboros. You can't kill "Hunger." The Path of Voracity exists even if the Aeon's physical form is shattered.
>"Its fangs pierced not only the knight's armor but also the moon itself.
Oroboros didn't just wound Aha — it bit through the Phantasmoon itself. Which actually raises some questions on this matter. The “The Cake of God Hypothesis” suggests that Aha is infected with the Voracity. But then again, i’m not so sure on this one.
The ”Cake of God Theory”:
>The prototype of imagenae originated from a cake baked by Aha when THEY were starving while being hunted by other Aeons during the Swarm Disaster.
>THEY used debris from a divine battle (presumably biomatter left behind when the Propagation and another Aeon pulled each other's hair) as eggs, sugar stolen from the "World's End" as seasoning, and finally plucked a leaf from Yaoshi to replace flour, creating the perfect Cake of God. (Note: Some scholars see this as proof of Yaoshi's existence during the Swarm Disaster, but the Baking School generally maintains this is a textual error and is dedicated to restoring the true "flour.")
>For many years after, Aha missed that flavor dearly. THEY sought various ingredients to recreate the universe's best cake. These materials piled up like construction materials beside Qlipoth, eventually forming Planarcadia. THEY built a giant oven to heat the cake, a tool later known as the Phantasmoon. It is said that Aha's tears of joy fell when THEY successfully remade the Cake of God using a cup of gasoline, two races, and three limericks.
>In time, countless chefs gathered here to learn from Aha. Millennia later, a master baker finally recreated the Cake of God using soil, ink, and stories based on the Miracle. Thus did she name them "imagenae." And her name was Graphia.”
In this sense, in order to satiate the Voracity mixed with Aha or whatever interpretation of this excerpt was, Aha created the Phantasmoon as the “perfect cake of god” which is the process itself of creating imaginae. The “perfect Cake of God” is a mythic metaphor for the first successful creation of the Phantasmoon‑type system — a self‑sustaining engine built from the essential ingredients that make imagenae and Wishpower possible. In this symbolic recipe, the components represent fundamental forces: divine debris (raw matter or substrates that can be shaped), sugar (the raw emotional energy or desire that Wishpower is conceptually tied to), and the leaf of Yaoshi (representing life‑sustaining Abundance). Combined in the right conditions, these forces produced not a literal dessert but a lasting structure of Wishpower generation and life creation, which in the actual lore became the Phantasmoon — the first imagenae born of collective attention and imagination and the celestial body that anchors the Phantasmoon Games.
From that “cake event,” the Phantasmoon continued to emit Wishpower, drawing attention and imagination that spawned other imagenae and led to the establishment of the Phantasmoon Games as a cycle of spectacle and desire generation. The result — as mythologized by the Cake of God story — is not simply one perfect creation but a self‑perpetuating feedback loop in which desire fuels creation and creation fuels further desire, embodied in the moon itself and in the diverse species of imagenae it sustains.
Actually, I am sure now, because Aha's Fables says it plainly:
"Aha wandered the desert for nine days and nights, hollow with hunger and parched with thirst. Suddenly, THEY encountered a great serpent. Aha said to the beast, 'O Great Snake, if you give me but a single drop of water, I will grant you anything your heart desires.' The serpent demanded THEIR promise be honored and swallowed Aha's head in a single gulp. Having no mouth, Aha could never eat again, left only to savor that final 'aftertaste' for all eternity." That's the infection. The serpent swallowing Aha's head is Oroboros biting into them and grafting the Voracity hunger permanently onto Aha's conceptual framework. "Having no mouth, Aha could never eat again" doesn't mean they starved — it means the hunger they now carry can never be satisfied, because it isn't their own. The "aftertaste" is the permanent residue. Aha is starving on a hunger they can't feed and can't remove.
>"The wounded Lunar Knight was seized by madness from that day forth, his descent into frenzy fueled by the very moonlight."
The Phantasmoon is meant to reflect Elation — but it's been "bitten" by Voracity, so it now reflects predatory joy instead. Aha's "Elation" became fused with the "Hunger" of Voracity. The moonlight now radiates that madness.
So the “moon” in that passage is not a fully formed Phantasmoon yet. It is the idea of the moon — the seed of what it will become, being struck by the hunger force. It’s still in a proto state.
This matches the Cake of God foundation: Aha is “starving” not because they are literally eaten, but because the need to respond to that hunger was grafted into THEM.
>"Doctors were summoned, but nobody knew what to do for the sick moon. That is, until a ship crafted from ice cream, donuts, and cake sailed straight into the moon."
This is most likely the Mourning Actors/Masked Fools attempting to save Aha. They couldn't remove the fangs — so they coated them in sugar instead.
Aha did not create a pure Phantasmoon — they created a Phantasmoon fused with hunger because the creative act happened under the influence of Voracity.
Therefore in this case, the “sick moon” represents the Voracity‑corrupted creative force of Aha, the Phantasmoon in its proto-form.
When the first Mourning Actors (Doctors) —the initial Supplicants—arrive, they are faced with a crisis they cannot directly heal.
To manage the corruption, they transform it into spectacle, crafting the “Dessert Ship” that becomes the first Phantasmoon Games.
They twisted the wound into a "Dessert Ship," essentially trying to lure in desire.
This ship is the birth of the Phantasmoon Games.
They turned a big danger into something people wanted, so nobody noticed the threat.
>"The show's laughter, drifting on the moonlight, drew in the sprites of mountain, water, earth, and sky. One after another, they leaped into the lake, passed through the mirror of its surface, and entered the very heart of the moon."
This is most likely connected to the Phantasmoon Games. The games are an event designed so that Voracity will be fooled. The "sprites" (participants) think they're going to the heart of the moon for a wish. In reality, they're batteries. Their Wishpower (Desire) is fed directly into the seal to keep the Serpent's fangs busy chewing on fantasies instead of reality.
This line illustrates how the Phantasmoon Games function as a mechanism: the “laughter” represents the collective engagement and desire of the participants, which acts as the fuel for the system.
The sprites of mountain, water, earth, and sky symbolize all life and imagination in Planarcadia being drawn in—essentially, every source of Wishpower.
By “leaping into the lake” and “passing through the mirror,” they are entering a controlled sub-reality or conduit that channels their desires directly into the heart of the Phantasmoon
Similar to Fate's Holy Grail War, participants are drawn in by the promise of wishes, and by passing through the "mirror," they enter a sub-reality where their collective Wishpower acts as conceptual "food" to keep the serpent occupied.
The Phantasmoon readable confirms its dual function explicitly: "The Moon of Elation hanging high in the sky of Planarcadia. The Wishpower of the entire arcadia converges and flows here. Laughter indicates that the world is safe and sound, while sadness indicates that the world is in imminent danger." The moon is both the collection point and the status monitor. Laughter means the seal is holding. Silence means it isn't.
>"The Lunar Knight reclines sideways upon the velvet curtain, letting out the occasional guffaw."
Aha watches and monitors. That's why they grant their authority over the Games.
By advertising the Phantasmoon Games, they continuously generate more Wishpower to keep Voracity at bay in Planarcadia, because Wishpower/Imaginae are born out of Desire and Voracity is Hunger itself.
The "guffaw" is a status signal, as long as the Knight is laughing, the seal is holding. If the Knight goes silent, the frenzy takes over.
That first cake is essentially the seed of the system: the mechanism by which desire, or Wishpower, can be harvested and channeled to keep Voracity in check.
Over time, as the system needed refinement and scaling, Aha collected the “construction materials” beside Qlipoth—these aren’t literal ingredients but symbolic: raw energies, fragments of Aeons, leftover life from the Swarm Disaster, or even the nascent thoughts and desires of the first Imaginae.
They form the building blocks of Planarcadia/Beizaitengoku itself, the stage on which the Phantasmoon Games will run indefinitely.
The final line about “Aha’s tears of joy” signals that the system works.
The cup of gasoline, the two races, and the three limericks aren’t literal recipes—they represent the carefully balanced inputs needed to keep the cycle going: fuel (gasoline) for energy, sentient life (two races) to generate desire, and cultural/memetic structures (three limericks) to structure the Games and attract participation.
In other words, Aha observes the Phantasmoon Games, sees the seal holding against Voracity, and finally feels that the prototype Cake of God has succeeded as a functioning, self-sustaining system.
>"The troupe's performance lasted an entire day and night. Packed in among the sprites in the audience, I had succumbed to exhaustion well before the halfway mark."
The "performance" is the Phantasmoon Games — which on paper sounds like a wish-granting opportunity but is actually just a mechanism to keep Voracity in check. Ironic that it mirrors Fate's Holy Grail system in structure.
This line reflects the immense strain and scale of the Phantasmoon Games system.
The troupe's performance” is the Phantasmoon Games themselves—the spectacle designed to draw in desire from countless sprites, Imaginae, and participants.
That the observer(Evanescia) “succumbed to exhaustion well before the halfway mark” emphasizes how overwhelming the cycle of Wishpower generation is: even a single participant experiences the magnitude and intensity of the system’s operation.
In the Cake of God interpretation, this exhaustion also mirrors the ongoing labor of the seal: the “ingredients” (sprites, desires, and Imaginae) must continuously feed the Phantasmoon. The Games are relentless, like a cosmic oven running constantly, and this line dramatizes how the system’s scale and energy demand are far beyond ordinary limits.
In short, it emphasizes the importance of maintaining the “perfect cake” which is the ongoing, exhausting task of keeping Voracity occupied.
>"By the time I opened my eyes, the flowers on the ground had grown into towering giants, and the troupe had vanished without a trace."
If the flowers (Imaginae/Wishpower) are "towering giants," the system is being forced to overproduce.
The Serpent is getting hungrier, requiring more "sugar" and more "sprites" to keep the seal from breaking.
The Fools—the first Supplicants and Mourning Actors—set this ritual in motion and then stepped back, leaving it to run on the desires and ambitions of mortals.
The system ensures that Voracity receives a constant “balanced diet” of dreams and wishes, adjusting the quantity and intensity of the Games to maintain the seal.
The towering flowers visually capture both the abundance of energy being generated and the immense pressure required to keep the Serpent restrained indefinitely.
>"I stepped from the moon and found myself right beside you."
Which is the events as of the late.
Warning: some fate lore to better understand it without overcomplicating it.
The Holy Grail War of Fuyuki Holy Grail War is a ritual constructed by the Einzbern family, Tohsaka family, and Makiri family to reach the Root. It requires immense magical energy, generated by summoning seven Servants, killing them, and funneling their essence into the Grail.
The wish is bait. What the system needs is desire intense enough to drive participants to kill.
The Phantasmoon Games operate on the same principle. Sprites (Supplicants) participate, generating Wishpower that sustains the seal on Oroboros. The Fools construct the system, advertise the reward, and withdraw, while Aha observes as it accumulates output—mirroring the Grail’s passive collection between wars.
Unlike the Grail, however, Aha grants authority briefly—one minute of true fulfillment.
After the Angra Mainyu corrupted the Grail, it continued to function but produced malice instead of wishes.
Phantasmoon follows the same trajectory. After Oroboros’ attack, the system persists, but its output is distorted—the moon spreads twisted joy, its source corrupted beyond repair.
This also coincidentally collides with the missing blanks on Myriad Celestia Trailer: "Anti-Destruction Alliance" https://youtu.be/ZwnE5o7_gzA?si=JC-LCiTGpUY918Gz
>Opal: The entry tickets (masks) are ready.
>As for luring in the ██... I'll leave that in your hands.
>Pearl: I shall complete the final stroke of the blueprint of Preservation.
>All for the Amber Lord.
>
>Ruan Mei: Per Genius Society tradition, we don't get involved.
>Don't worry. I'll inform the Intelligentsia Guild
>about the Leviathan research.
>
>Ashveil: To hunt down a vanished Aeon... (██)... I'm afraid...
>You can't afford my price.
BUT WHAT ABOUT ABUNDANCE THEN?
After the Swarm Disaster, Aha was starving (bitten by Voracity) and created the first Cake of God using the debris, sugar, and the leaf of Yaoshi. This act produced the first Phantasmoon, a corrupted moon of Elation that also functioned as a stage for desire—the prototype of the Games.
That moon was incomplete and unstable, which is why the system needed reinforcement. Over time, Aha longed to recreate the perfect flavor—the perfect cake—and through repeated efforts, they essentially built Planarcadia as a massive “oven”, gathering materials, stabilizing the system, and eventually forging the Phantasmoon as a fully functioning desire-harvesting construct.
This is where the Ambrosial Arbor comes in. Once the Phantasmoon system matured, Aha needed a continuous, regulated supply of Wishpower to maintain the seal on Oroboros and stabilize the system.
The Arbor acts as the life-support network of the Games: it produces and sustains the participants (humans, sprites, Imagenae) whose desires fuel the Phantasmoon.
Think of it like Aha saying: “I baked the cake, now I need a bakery that constantly churns out the ingredients, or the oven will go cold and the seal will fail.”
The Arbor guarantees that no matter how long the Games run, there is always someone alive and wanting, creating a self-sustaining feedback loop of Wishpower.
Though I did find something interesting and it's related to Evanescia's Riddle (as well as the three questions that Yao Guang asked her.
The first hint is the title from Evanescia's Teaser:
>"It Takes Ten Years to Grow a Tree, But a Hundred to Nurture People" 1st Place
But this is the excerpt from 4.2 from Evanescia’s Dialogue that is intriguing:
>Evanescia: "Eons ago, in the Master of Immortality's mysterious garden, flora flourished with such intensity that they suffocated all other life. A meddler quietly infiltrated this place, plucking the most enchanting and luxuriant branch."
>"The severed branch screamed in protest. For before she was gifted with eternal life, she was a divine envoy leading her kin in search of the elixir of life. She was a beast of blind love and hatred, a sword dancer who devoured the Crimson Moon... so proud was she, never having known how to yield."
>"Save for the blazing Phoenix of the Xianzhou, she has never been defeated by another. How, then, could she tolerate... a meddler defiling her fragrance?"
>Yao Guang: "Are you speaking of myths... or true history?"
>Evanescia: "When the past is as distant as the afterglow of the stars, does it really matter whether it is myth or history?"
>"That meddler transplanted her to another world. And through this method, THEY imprisoned the most terrifying of horrors within the most ridiculous of games."
>Yao Guang: "You mean... you yourself are that 'most terrifying thing'?"
>Evanescia: "You've misunderstood... or perhaps not."
>"The meddlesome god promised to enlighten her, to teach her to know true joy, and in the repeated cycles of the Phantasmoon Games, the meddler did not break THEIR promise."
>"She once witnessed raging flames boil the seas dry, saw civilizations rise from dust and wither back into it. She gazed upon the purest souls burning away their brilliance, and stood silent as supreme evil reveled in blood upon the earth."
>"Finally, amidst the love and hate of the insignificant, she gradually glimpsed the essence of fleeting life: The meaning of Elation."
>"Over the past thousand years, I have called upon her power three times to avert catastrophe. Each time, it left an irreparable scar upon the land."
Riddle: Why are flowers so beautiful?
Flowers are beautiful because they are fleeting, existing only for a moment before fading. This mirrors the nature of Wishpower: each wish has energy only while it remains ungranted.
Evanescia embodies both the instant of desire and the eternity of its endless cycle.
She is not producing Wishpower herself but maintains the conditions that make desire possible.
By watching the Games and regulating their difficulty and accessibility, she ensures that participants remain wanting, that the cycle of fleeting wishes continues unbroken.
In essence, Evanescia is the living manifestation of desire itself, where the ephemeral and the eternal coexist.
Question 1: Why did Aha let the Ambrosial Arbor take root in Planarcadia?
Aha constructed the cage that contains Oroboros, but the seal required a constant, unending supply of Wishpower to remain effective. The Ambrosial Arbor, planted by Yaoshi at the heart of the Phantasmoon Courtyard, serves this exact function.
It produces and maintains the living population that generates desire, ensuring that there is always something for Oroboros to consume, keeping the system in balance.
Without the Arbor, mortal desire would eventually exhaust, Wishpower would dwindle, and the seal would risk breaking.
Aha allowed the Arbor to take root because it acts as the foundation for the cage: it is embedded in the system itself, sustaining the participants and ensuring that the games' supply of desire never stops.
Question 2: Is Evanescia a fae native to Planarcadia or one of the long-lived species of Abundance?
Evanescia is not native to Planarcadia; she is an avatar of Elwood Panarch, the Ambrosial Arbor of Planarcadia. She exists as a long-lived, possibly immortal being connected to the framework of Abundance, rather than being a native creature of the world.
Her role is behavior: she arbitrates the Games, monitors the participants, and regulates the conditions under which desire is generated.
By keeping the Games challenging enough to sustain longing, yet achievable enough to avoid despair, she ensures that the system’s supply of Wishpower remains stable.
That's why Evanescia is like a gardener because she doesn’t create the flowers (the living beings who generate Wishpower) herself. Instead, she takes care of them, making sure the conditions are just right for them to keep growing, blooming, and dying at the right rate.
She manages the "conditions" of the system, the difficulty of the Games, the wants and desires of the participants so the cycle of desire never stops. Without her, some flowers might wither too early, others might stop wanting, and the whole Wishpower supply could falter.
The Aberration Committee checks up on the Arbor because it’s like the system’s pressure gauge.
When the tree produces too much life or sustains too many participants at once, the system strains, creating aberrations—glitches or side effects that signal the seal is under stress.
By monitoring these aberrations, the Committee can see whether the Arbor is doing its job correctly and whether the seal on Oroboros is holding.
Question 3: Explain the fate of Planarcadia’s residents
The residents of Planarcadia, especially the Imagenae, exist in a continuous cycle sustained by the Ambrosial Arbor. The Arbor has the power to shape life and subdue death, preventing living beings from degrading into Wispae.
It does this not by granting true immortality, but by continuously sustaining the population of desire-generating life, ensuring that each participant remains capable of wanting for as long as the system requires.
Humans and sprites contribute to Wishpower through their desires, and the Arbor guarantees that there are always enough of these “Wishpower generators” alive to keep the seal functioning.
Imagenae are effectively crystallized desires; their prolonged survival and regulated lifecycle allow Wishpower to cycle endlessly.
The Arbor, in essence, is both gardener and life-support system as it maintains life, prevents premature death, and perpetuates the cycle of wanting.
Residents live indefinitely as long as the system is maintained, their lives serving the dual purpose of sustaining desire and feeding the seal on Oroboros, making them immortal in function if not in natural permanence. Overproduction occasionally creates aberrations, which are monitored as stress indicators for the seal.
TIMELINE:
Phase 1 — The Swarm Disaster & Birth of the Corrupted Phantasmoon (~13XX AE)
During the Swarm Disaster, Aha—bitten by Voracity and left starving (“before the moon had risen”)—improvises a solution: using divine debris as eggs, sugar from the World’s End, and a leaf from Yaoshi as flour, THEY create the first Cake of God. This becomes the first Phantasmoon—the corrupted, unstable Moon of Elation.
The first Mourning Actors (later Supplicants) detect the corruption but cannot heal it. Instead, they convert it into spectacle, creating the Dessert Ship—a system that feeds on desire, laughter, and mortal ambition, aided by elemental sprites—to prevent collapse and sustain the Voracity-tainted moon.
Phase 2 — Planarcadia Formation & System Stabilization (~13XX–2147 AE)
Aha, seeking to recreate the perfect Cake of God, accumulates materials that form Planarcadia near Qlipoth. The Phantasmoon system evolves from improvisation into a structured cycle of desire-generation.
With the successful recreation of the Cake (“a cup of gasoline, two races, and three limericks”), the seal stabilizes: Voracity is indirectly contained through the Phantasmoon Games and sustained mortal spectacle.
Phase 3 — The Cindearth Age (2147–2149 AE)
During the Anti-Matter Legion’s invasion of Ahatopia and Benzaitengoku, Graphia emerges—not to create the seal, but to refine it. She develops scalable imagenae technology, originally for war, which stabilizes and expands the desire-generation system.
Her work ensures the Phantasmoon Games can continuously sustain Voracity’s containment through structured, amplified mortal participation.
Phase 4 — The Canvas Age (2149 AE onward)
Graphia seals Benzaitengoku within a painting, initiating a closed, self-contained system. Inside this canvas, the Phantasmoon Games continue, accelerating the production of Wishpower and desire.
Containment becomes both spatial and temporal: the internal system sustains itself while Voracity consumes time outside. The Games operate autonomously, maintaining the stabilized but corrupted Phantasmoon.
Phase 5 — Post-Canvas / IPC Era (Present Day)
Survivors are restored under the IPC as Planarcadia exits the canvas, reintroducing external variables into a once closed system. The Phantasmoon Games partially decouple from their original purpose, leaving the seal reliant on ongoing mortal participation and the residual Phantasmoon structure born from Aha’s Cake of God.
The Imagenae overgrow into towering giants, driving excess production and destabilizing balance. The system now demands ever-increasing desire to sustain the seal, as Voracity’s pressure intensifies beneath it.
SOME THINGS NOT DISCUSSED BUT IS IMPORTANT:
GRAPHIA:
This is the layer that renders the seal effectively permanent—though Graphia likely never realized it.
Natural imagenae and strangelings collapse back into elementary patterns. These byproducts of the Phantasmoon lack persistent identity and narrative continuity, making them incapable of sustaining long-term desire. Desire requires identity; sustained desire requires continuity; scalable desire requires structure.
Thus, the early Games—reliant on strangelings as primary generators—were inherently unstable, producing inconsistent Wishpower.
Graphia resolved all three limits simultaneously.
Through imagenetic technology and narrative pulse, she imposed designed identity, lore, and form onto imagenae. As outlined in the Cake of God hypothesis, she did not create from nothing—she observed Aha’s system, where Wishpower and imagenae emerged naturally. “Chefs learning from Aha” refers to studying these patterns: desire becoming form, then life.
Her role was replication through understanding. By analyzing the phenomenon, she identified its structure and reproduced it deliberately. The phrase “recreated using soil, ink, and stories” describes method, not ingredients: soil (medium), ink (structure), stories (desire encoding).
She transformed chaotic emergence into stable entities capable of persistent, complex desire—turning Wishpower from abstraction into embodied systems and making desire-production industrially scalable.
Her second act sealed it completely.
By enclosing Benzaitengoku within a painted scroll via the Phantasmoon Games, she created a closed system containing both imagenae and humans. The canvas became the boundary of containment; nothing exits, and the cycle of desire continues indefinitely within.
MASKS
The Mask is the harvesting mechanism.
Ambient Wishpower alone cannot sustain an Aeon-level seal—it remains noise. To function as fuel, it must be compressed, owned, and narrativized. The mask performs all three.
It compresses diffuse Wishpower into dense packets, encodes ownership by binding desire to a specific will, and converts raw emotion into structured wishes—coherent, usable outputs.
As indicated in the Myriad Celestia trailer, the masks serve as entry points designed to lure participants. They are not neutral tools but harnesses. A wearer generates and amplifies desire, drawing not only from themselves but from the surrounding field, feeding the output into the system.
Participants thus become mobile harvesting nodes. Their movement and interactions matter. The Games themselves act as an amplification reactor—turning spectacle into increased emotional density, and higher density into greater harvest yield.
>All in all, it's basically a loop
Abundance (Arbor sustains life) → Graphia's imagenetics (stabilizes complex desire) → Elation (Phantasmoon generates ambient Wishpower) → Masks (harvest, compress, narrativize) → Games (concentrate and decoy) → Phantasmoon eats the wishpower → Voracity (Oroboros consumes) → pressure feeds back → Abundance must produce more → loop tightens
WHICH MEANS IT'S BASICALLY JUST AMPHOREUS AGAIN SHAOJI!!!
